Server Requirements

This chapter discusses server requirements for the Database, File and Application server necessary to support WebFlex Internet Architecture.

Database Server:
The database server houses your WebFlex database.

File Server:

Application Server:
The Sybase Enterprise Application server consists of the web server and the component server. The application server servers as a middleman managing information requested from the user workstation and the results provided by the database. It is designed to manage the Pendylum transaction and components to ensure the highest performance levels.
