Webflex offers a web based application removing the system administration generally associate with Client Server applications. The only software required on the client PC is Internet Explorer 5.x.


WebFlex Internet Architecture

Database /File/Application Server Hardware Minimum Requirements:
• Processor – Pentium III 750 MHz
• Memory – 512 MB
• Sufficient disk space to accommodate*:

o EA Server (330 MB)
o Remote Access soft ware of client’s choice (XX MB)
o Database connectivity package (5-65 MB)
o Data disk space = 1MB per employee per year
o Recommend an additional 2 GB of free disk space

*Required in excess of O/S, dB and standard server software installed.

3rd Party Server Software:
• O/S – Win NT5 ap5 and up, Windows 2000
• Database – MS SQL 7 or higher
• Remote Access Software – (e.g. PC Anywhere v6)
• Web & Application Server – EA Server
• Database connectivity package
• Any required application server patches& fixes

Workstation Hardware Minimum Requirements:
• Processor – Pentium II 450 MHz
• Memory – 32 MB
• Hard- drive – 10 MB free

3rd Party workstation Software:
• Internet Explorer 5.x

System Administration:

The client will be responsible for managing the procedures related to the procedures related to the administration of the various hardware components.
This includes and is not limited to:

• Back- up
• Restore
• Server restart

Additional Services:

We provide server set-up and configuration services, our Professional Services Group is available to install and configure EA Server and /or the complete server.
